March Update at a glance
Smart Clipper — from web page to structured spec sheet
Donut — your in-clipper AI action for product details
Library improvements — organize with tags and favorites
Faster imports — getting data in takes minutes, not hours
One of our most used features is the Clipper. We love it ourselves and our users love how it saves them time putting together projects. However, we always felt that it could be better and even faster if it could auto-fill all the product fields.
This month, we’re closing that gap. The April Update brings Smart Clipper, our AI-helper Donut and new workflow improvements designed around one core idea: hands-off, almost instant capture with fewer blockers and less admin time.

Finally leaving the copy-paste era fully in the past
Building a product library shouldn't feel like a data entry job.
You might be so used to copy-pasting specs, downloading images and fighting with complicated supplier websites that it seems like there’s no better alternative. The original Clipper has always saved time by replacing manual copy-paste with click-to-capture fields (name, description, dimensions/specs etc.) into thesheet.
But Smart Clipper is the next leap: it removes even clicking.

Meet Donut: AI fetching in seconds
We’ve completely rebuilt how you capture products from the web to be a hands-off, almost instant process. Donut is the clickable AI action inside Smart Clipper.
Open a product page, press the Donut button and our AI helper fetches the data in seconds. All you need to do is open the product you like, ask Donut to fetch and it will do the rest for you. Name, pricing, description and even down to measurements. If it's on the page, it will be clipped. It’s the simplest way to get from a browser tab to a client-ready spec item.
Snip-to-Clip for the stubborn pages and configurations
Sometimes it's not enough to get just a product into your specs - you need to get the actual configuration and the specific fabric from the twelve options. For these situations or even complex PDF catalogues - we’ve added Snip-to-Clip. Just draw a box around the details you want. We turn that visual snip into structured product data in your library instantly.
Library improvements for everyday speed
Saving products is only half the job. A library is only useful if you can actually find things in it later — and get them into a project without having to hunt through everything you’ve ever saved.
The Product Library is now a proper replacement for all the scattered places your product research currently lives. Bookmarks, Pinterest boards, saved links in a Word doc — you can bring all of it into one organised, searchable place and actually find it again when you need it.

Tags: organise the way your brain works
Tags work like folders, but without the rigidity. Create whatever tags make sense to you — by mood, material, supplier, style or project type — and apply them as you clip or import. Found a beautiful piece but no project for it right now? Tag it and come back to it later without scrolling through everything else.
The real power comes when you combine tags with filters and search. Even if you don’t remember exactly what you saved or when, you can narrow things down fast and find what you need in seconds.
Favorites: your most-used pieces, always on top
Some products you reach for in almost every project. Mark those as favorites and they’ll always sit at the top of your library, ready to go. No more scrolling through hundreds of items to find that one reliable task chair you spec into everything.
Bringing your work into thesheet
Getting your existing data into a new tool shouldn't be a project on its own. Project Import and Library Import help bring messy data into thesheet fast.
Project import
Our new project import flow lets you map your existing CSV or Excel spreadsheets directly into thesheet. Upload your data, map your columns once, review the information and we’ll even help enrich the missing details with the same AI technology that our Smart Clipper uses.
Library import from URL lists
If you have your links saved as Chrome bookmarks or in a Word document, this will make your life a lot easier. Our new URL import lets you paste them in bulk in one big list (up to 200 links in one go). We’ll scan the pages, pull the products and let you optionally tag them all at once as well!

What’s next
Next we will be focusing on improving collaboration within a team and between teams or individuals. So if you want to bring in someone only for a specific project you will be able to do so without giving them access to everything. And also you will be able to add your brand to the client sharing links. Colors, logo, the works.
But for now, give the new features a try. We think you'll feel the difference immediately.
